Edit Service Details

We provide a turnkey option for editing the episodes you record with us at Visible Audio Studios.

The service is for the first edit, no additional revisions are included. Hourly rates will be incurred for any notes given for 2nd or 3rd revision requests.

Artwork is provided by you but we can be hired at an additional cost for original creative and/or visual effects.

Do you offer Live Switching?

Yes, you can add-on Live Switching for $85 with your 3-hour recording session.

If you choose to have us Edit your recording for you. The cost of Live Switching will be deducted from your Editing charges.

Does Editing come with animation or visual effects?

The flat rate pricing does not include visual effects outside of simple titles fade in / fade out of your + guest(s) names and description.

We can quote for services to create a template for visual effects to be used repeatedly.

How do you share the edits for any feedback?

Currently we use Frame.io to share your edit to simply view and provide comments if requesting revisions.

What is the turnaround for edits?

We provide an estimate time of delivery after the recording session.

Our standard turnaround for your edit is seven (7) days from date of recording, if you use Live Switching service the turnaround time is much faster and determined based on the current editing queue work load.

If you need it faster, we do offer expedited services at a charge but we try and complete the edit as soon as possible.

What format do you edit and export in?

We edit in DaVinci Resolve and can provide a drp for your records upon request.

We provide exported Video files in MP4 and Audio files in WAV.

The option of receiving RAW files is available but please bring an external hard drive with you for our tech to upload to your storage device.

All MP4 and WAV files will be available for download via Dropbox for 30 days post shoot.

Is parking available?

There is paid for parking in the building structure, $20 per vehicle through parking company.

You can enter through the alley behind the building off Benecia Ave. Street metered parking is also available and there is some free parking off Beverly Glen, but PLEASE READ the signs. As they can be tricky.

Do you offer discounts for multiple bookings?

Potentially, when you come in for your recording session you can share more details about what you are looking for over multiple sessions.

Can I instant schedule a recording session?

For first time clients we do require a walk-through or a video call to tour the space with you.

After your first booking you can schedule recording sessions at any time we are available.

What hours are you open?

Twenty-four (24) hours a day but by appointment only.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card, Square Cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay, are all accepted with processing fee's added to the total recording session cost.

Wire or ACH no additional processing fee's.

All payments must be made prior to booking.
